If you haven't made the trip to downtown Las Vegas to view the vibrant and colorful murals, you might want to make that trip! On May 25, a group from the SCS Photography Club visited downtown Las Vegas, and enjoyed the murals found on several buildings. We made our way down 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th Streets where most of the murals were located.
We were able to capture most of the murals in their entirety as there were few people/cars in the early morning hours. After enjoying and contemplating the murals, some of us had a delicious breakfast at the restaurant Eat. before heading home.
Our field trip for June will be closer to home. Join Dale Kavula at the Photography Club's studio at Desert Vista on Wednesday, June 14 to practice taking studio images under controlled lighting. The subjects will be men and women. Dale will have more information at our next meeting.
