High Roller at the Linq

On June 19th Dale Kavula, Marina Jurasek, and Carol Serery took the trek downtown to ride the High Roller at the Linq. The weather cooperated and the timing for the sunset was right on as we got to the top of the High Roller. What a beautiful sight as we looked out to the west at the mountains and the area where we live (Sun City).

As we walked onto the Linq we had the cab all to ourselves which gave us the freedom to move around to take our photographs. The ride was smooth and quiet except for our squeals of delight seeing our city above and the panorama of the mountains. Areas of the strip that we are familiar look so different from above.

After the ride we walked along the Linq Promenade. We saw many of the sights such as 3D murals in which to take souvenior photos with foot prints at the perfect spot to take the shot, an ATM machine that dispenses fresh cup cakes, musicians, and a lighted dancing fountain. It was a fun seeing all the many different sights.
